Deers Ranthambore National ParkRanthambore National Park, a part of the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve lies in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan State. In 1955 it was declared as a wildlife sanctuary and in 1980 it got upgraded to National Park. The park extends over an area of 392 sq. km. the park and its reserves are declared protected under the Project Tiger implemented in 1973. Six lakes, all of them man-made are there in the park.
